    Melissa will virtually attend any venue visits and meetings with you. Local clients have the option to bring Melissa to one venue search visit and one venue planning visit or walk-through so you have an expert by your side when it’s time to make crucial decisions.

    Guest Management
    Our advice will help you to consider and factor in any special needs and circumstances. Get customized recommendations and support in securing vendors for stationary, favors, keepsakes, guest accommodations, and transportation.

    Behind-the-Scenes
    Learn about factors such as planning for equipment rentals, tableware and linen, and what licenses, permits, and insurance might be required for your event. Melissa will work with you to prepare and secure the proper rental orders with a dependable company and advise you on any legal and liability responsibilities that pertain to your event.

    Event Day Support and Management
    Receive virtual event day support from Melissa. To ensure seamless execution, Melissa will conduct a pre-event meeting with you and your chosen event-day coordinator and/or venue coordinator. Melissa will assist you in securing an event-day coordinator if required.

  • MAXevent brings all the expertise and knowledge of a traditional planner, but our process allows you to stay in the driver's seat!

    Our “done with you” planning model means you are making the decisions, keeping track of your budget, and maintaining communication with your venue and vendors. You have the advantage of a professional planner in your back pocket to guide you through all the unknowns. With your overall vision and goals in mind, we will make sure you don’t miss a thing. The result will be a truly unforgettable event that you will be proud to have planned.

  • MAXevent collaborates with you so you can plan your own event with more confidence and ease (and less indecision and wasted time). We do not contract with your venue and vendors on your behalf, we do not make planning decisions on your behalf, and we do not carry out tasks on your behalf (unless it is specified in a customized package). We do guide you through all these steps of the planning process so you can feel assured as plans progress.

  • Depending on your level of support, MAXevent will provide a referral list of vendors and venues that are a good fit for your event. The higher the package tier, the more curated your referrals are to your specific event. See our Planning Packages for more information.

    MAXevent’s referrals are not driven by finder’s fees or referral arrangements. What this means is, we steer you to vetted professionals that are the right fit for your event.

  • MAXevent will assist you through the contracting stage with your venue and vendors. We believe in full financial transparency, so MAXevent does not contract any services on your behalf.

  • MAXevent provides the relevant guidance and support you need to carry out the tasks involved with your event planning process. This means that you will know how to coordinate and execute all of the actions involved in preparing for your event. You may contract with MAXevent to perform certain tasks and services on your behalf, such as vendor research, securing proposals, and timeline development. Ask us about options that can be customized to your needs.

  • The package cost is determined by the complexity of your event and the level of support you require. Event planning guidance packages are customized to your unique event, therefore the cost is determined after an initial event consultation. The package price always includes event planning coaching and support for the duration of your event planning process.

    If you retain MAXevent and find that you need to upgrade to a higher level of support that option is always available.

  • For planning packages, there is a deposit required at the time of contract. Payment plans are available depending on the nature and timing of your event.

  • Most consultations will occur Monday through Friday, and Saturday appointments may be available for clients. Consultations can occur either via Zoom, Google Meet, phone call, or in person for local clients.

    For Planning Packages, meetings are scheduled via a dedicated link you will receive when we begin working together.

  • Each support option has its own guidelines for the level of support included. We happily offer customized support packages based on your unique needs.

    At the time of your initial consultation, we can help you evaluate what level of support is right for you. You can book an initial consultation HERE.

    Along with ongoing consultations for guidance, support, and accountability, clients have ongoing email access to MAXevent. When you elect our Celebration of the Year package, there are added benefits such as expedited response time, SOS calls, and dedicated support through your preferred channel.

  • We understand that things can happen quickly in the event planning world. Therefore, we do allow a package downgrade by one level within the first 14 days if we have only provided the services included in the lower tier package (services include referrals, information, guidance, and support). The difference in the package price will be refunded to you minus a 5% processing fee.

  • For Planning Guidance Packages: We offer the option to cancel a contract with MAXevent within 24 hours of signing if no services have been provided during that time. We are unable to offer refunds for services rendered. All refunds will be processed minus a 5% cancellation fee. You can reschedule appointments as needed with 24-hour notice.

    For Planning Strategy Sessions: To help cover the cost of our reserved time and payment processing, these cancellations will incur a 5% cancellation fee. There is no fee for rescheduled appointments, but we do kindly ask for 24-hour notice.

  • We do offer a 14-day Guarantee with our planning packages. If you are unsatisfied with our service, you can cancel your contract with us without incurring additional charges.
